Onijah Andrew Robinson has been transferred to JPMC after travelling to Pakistan to look for her lover.

Because of worries about her mental health, Onijah Andrew Robinson, an American who has been in Karachi for several months looking for her Pakistani sweetheart, has been moved to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre (JPMC).
Sources claim that Robinson has been speaking incoherently and that her hands and feet have become swollen. Doctors are currently evaluating her condition at JPMC’s Department of Psychiatry as part of a psychiatric evaluation.
According to Jeremiah Andrew Robinson, her son, his mother has a history of mental instability and cognitive limitations. Onijah was supposed to return to the United States in October, he disclosed, but she refused to leave Pakistan, even though her family had bought her a ticket back.
According to records, Robinson was arrested for “ENTERING PREMISES AFTER WARNING” in South Carolina in 2021 and was given a $465 cash bond. Whether or not the bond was paid is still unknown.
A two-person US Consulate staff received Robinson at Karachi Airport on January 29. Citing legal restrictions, they told authorities that they were unable to take her out of Pakistan by force.
When Robinson tried to enter a residential building in Karachi’s Garden East neighbourhood and refused to leave in spite of numerous demands from locals and police, she grabbed news once more. Afterwards, she argued with social worker Ramzan Chhipa during a press conference, telling him, “You talk too much.”
While the US Consulate continues to manage the matter, authorities are currently keeping an eye on Robinson’s status at JPMC. In the days ahead, further information regarding her legal and health status should become available.
