
According to police reports, a gang beef resulted in two persons being sliced during a midday brawl that broke out in Manhattan Criminal Court on Tuesday.
According to court officials, the altercation started at 12:15 p.m. in the courthouse hallway on Centre St. next to Hogan Place in downtown Manhattan.
The injured victims are likely to recover from their injuries after being taken to a nearby hospital.
Court authorities arrested seven persons and found two sharp objects that miraculously evaded the courthouse’s security procedures, which include an X-ray scanning and a metal detector.
Whether the individuals involved in the altercation were already in custody prior to the slashings was not immediately apparent.
