Du declared on their official social media account that the problem has been fixed almost an hour after the malfunction was discovered.

On Saturday, a number of du subscribers complained about problems with their residential Internet. About an hour after the outage peaked, the telecom operator declared that the issue had been “resolved” after acknowledging that there was a technical issue with its broadband services in certain locations.
On Saturday, a number of du subscribers complained about issues with their home Internet connection. After the outage peaked, the telecom operator reported that there was a technical problem “in its broadband/Internet services in some areas” and declared it “resolved” around an hour later.
At 12:17 p.m., the web tracker Downdetector.ae had almost 7,600 outage reports. However, roughly 20 minutes later, this number began to decline. There were only roughly 1,380 outage complaints remaining at 1:19 PM.
“Both our home internet service and our landline are unavailable. Additionally, we are unable to reach customer service number 155,” Muhiddeen Kamleh, a resident of Dubai Marina, told Khaleej Times. “All other du users I know are reporting the same issue,” he stated.
“Then I realised our Internet was the problem. It hasn’t been working for over 40 minutes now,” admitted Kevin Bautista, a resident of Damac Hills 2, after all of their streaming services, including YouTube and Netflix, abruptly stopped operating at noon.
“Their team is working on restoring the service back to normal as soon as possible,” Du wrote in a post on X, confirming the malfunction.
Then, around an hour after the bug was discovered, Du declared on their official social media account that it had been fixed.
“The technical problem has been resolved, and all services are operating normally again. It read, “Thank you for your patience,” at 1:22 p.m.
