The airline gave a local number for their customer support line and invited passengers in Pakistan to call it if they needed any help
Following online rumours that Qatar Airways was closing its offices in Pakistan, the airline took to X to clarify its position.
The airline stated that its flights to and from Pakistan are running “as usual” in a tweet on Wednesday. Additionally, the airline stated that their offices are still open.
“Recent published reports claiming that Qatar Airways has closed offices in Pakistan are incorrect,” the post that was posted online stated.
The airline supplied a local number and requested that passengers in Pakistan call their dedicated customer service line if they needed any assistance.
The airline had previously declared that, after almost 13 years, it would start operating flights to the Syrian capital, Damascus, with three weekly flights commencing on January 7, 2025.
