Thea Booysen, a well-known gamer and internet personality from South Africa, and Jimmy Donaldson, often known as MrBeast, the most popular YouTuber in the world, both established themselves in the digital realm long before they ever met. Their story started in 2022 when Jimmy was travelling to South Africa and met Booysen at a dinner party through a mutual acquaintance. In 2025, MrBeast asked his girlfriend to marry him, and she accepted.
The YouTuber posted two photos of the moment he proposed to Booysen on social media to share the news. Mr. Beast is shown giving his lady the ring while seated on one of his knees in the opening scene. Booysen can be seen showing off her gorgeous diamond ring in the second photo.
